Republic Day: Celebrating Unity and Patriotism
Republic Day is a proud moment for every Indian, celebrated on 26th January each year to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. It marks the day when India became a sovereign, democratic republic, symbolizing justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity for all its citizens.
At PM Shri GPS Sankot, we celebrate this national occasion with great enthusiasm and pride. The day begins with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a parade showcasing cultural performances, patriotic songs, and speeches by students and teachers. These activities instill a sense of patriotism, unity, and respect for the values enshrined in our Constitution.
Republic Day reminds us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and inspires us to uphold the ideals of democracy, diversity, and harmony in our daily lives. It’s not just a day of celebration but a moment to renew our commitment to the nation and its glorious future.
